Since 1979, Red Line Synthetic Oil has been creating lubricants for the racing industry. Today, they manufacture more than 100 quality products, including motor oils, gear oils, assembly lubes, fuel additives and their popular WaterWetter cooling additive.

Production battery EVs tout regenerative braking and "one pedal driving" as a prominent feature. Regenerative braking utilizes the vehicle's electric motor to slow the car down. While this is great for energy reuse and saving brake consumables, the factory fill brake fluid is not up to the task of spirited driving. Given the massive amount of friction necessary to slow down the weight of a modern EV, it is easy to overheat the OEM fluid leading to loss of pedal feel or, worse yet, serious brake failure.

Red Line RL-600 DOT 4 Brake Fluid provides strikingly similar characteristics to Motul's RBF 600 at a competitive cost. In fact, with a Wet Boiling Point of 204°C/400°F and Dry Boiling Point of 318°C/604°F it provides slightly higher boiling protection over the Motul equivalent.
