Returns and Exchanges

We have a 15-day return policy. This means you have 15 days after receiving your item to request a return. Please read carefully before contacting us about a return or exchange.

Damage and Order Issues

Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is damaged, defective, or you have received the wrong item.  If you are not at fault, we will make it right.

Exceptions / Non-returnable Items

Unfortunately, certain types of items cannot be returned. Electrical, electronic parts (including but not limited to light bulbs, lamp housings, and gauges), and wheels may not be returned. Items that have been installed on a vehicle, or for other reasons cannot be resold as new, cannot be returned. Custom-built, built-to-order, or special order items, including wheels in custom colors may not be returned. Once again, wheels may not be returned. Special order items may require a 50% non-refundable deposit. This deposit will not be refunded if the order is cancelled unless the items are unable to be supplied by the manufacturer. The customer assumes responsibility that the items ordered will fit their needs.

Items labeled as open-box or clearance merchandise are sold at greatly-reduced prices, therefore all sales are considered final and no returns or refunds will be granted. The customer assumes responsibility for any and all risks that may be associated with purchasing open-box or clearance items. 

We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please email us at hello@emotive.engineering if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Returns

Once you have reviewed our return policies, email us at hello@emotive.engineering to begin the Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) process. Please include your order number and reason for return. All return inquiries must be sent within 15 days of receiving your items.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, uninstalled and unused, in its original packaging. Shipping, handling, and processing fees are not refundable. Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer.


 

All returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee. The restocking fee covers the cost of our order processing and restocking process. If you choose to retain store credit, the restocking fee may be waived.

Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. 

Exchanges

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item. Exchanges are subject to additional shipping charges unless a mistake was made on the order. If a mistake was made by Emotive Engineering, we will provide a return shipping label for you to make the exchange as seamless as possible.

Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded to your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

Cancellations

Please contact us immediately if you need to cancel an order. Due to the cost of processing refunds, there will be a 5% cancellation fee on all orders placed but canceled prior to shipping. This does not apply to returns and exchanges. Please refer to our return and exchange policies if your order has already shipped.

Your order cancellation must be confirmed by Emotive Engineering if it has not shipped from our warehouse or the manufacturer or distributor. Once confirmed, you will be issued a credit or refund minus cancellation fees.
