Description
Endless was found by Japanese open wheel racer Isao Hanazato in the mid-1980s. Just a year later, Endless' highly praised pads had over 70% of the racecar brake pad market share in Japan. Today, Endless products are found in the top echelon of motorsport as a supplier to F1 teams, SuperGT, and the factory BMW race programs. All Endless products are made in-house and manufactured in Japan with the highest levels of quality control and surfacing accuracy to within 1/1000 of a mm. That is tight stuff.
Endless provides two different compounds for the Tesla Model 3 platform. Though not officially published, the EX90 is thought to be a domestic branding of the MX72 compound. This is a dual use Street and Track compound with ideal rotor temperatures from 50°C to 700°C (122°F to 1292°F) and a coefficient of friction (μ) of 0.37 to 0.47, designed for minimal noise and low dust. A step up in heat handling is the EX99, which is thought to be a domestic branding of the CC-Rg. This is a track-focused compound with ideal rotor temperatures from 50°C to 800°C (122°F to 1472°F) and a μ of 0.38 to 0.45.
