Description
Lowering springs are one of the easiest ways to add handling performance and aggressive aesthetics to your vehicle. See our guide to Tesla Model 3 Lowering Springs for a full rundown of products available on the market.
Racing Studio-R or RS-R began life as a wholesale distributor in Osaka, Japan. Unsatisfied with the quality of parts they were able to obtain they set out to manufacture their own. RS-R strives to create only high-performance and high-quality products, actively embracing the trial of motorsports competition such as drag races, N1, sprints, drifting, rallies and Super GT to develop and test their parts.
Lowering springs are an easy way to add an aggressive stance and look to your car. They are designed to lower the vehicle's center of gravity and reduce body roll for better handling. As a bonus, the lower wind resistance signature will make the vehicle more streamlined and improve range. Yes! You can handle better, look better, and improve your range!
The RS-R Down Sus Lowering Springs will lower your Tesla Model 3 SR approximately 1.0" to 1.2" in front and 1.0 to 1.2" in rear for an even drop. While many manufacturers will consider their spring rates a secret sauce, RS-R lists a linear rate of 5.1kg/mm (286 lb/in) front and 8.33kg/mm (466 lb/in) rear. These are specific to the Standard Range as the front end does not carry the same weight as the SR's all-wheel drive siblings. This allows for even handling with a slight stiffening of the rear for more rotation. For Model 3 Performance and LR RS*R Down Sus Springs please see our other product listing.
