This typically manifests itself in boiled brake fluid or warped rotors. The factory system was not designed for the abuse your driving abilities can push it to. After you have upgraded your fluid, pads, and rotors, you might be thinking it is time to upgrade your lines.

To be up front, stainless steel brake lines are a nice to have for a primarily street driven vehicle. So why do enthusiasts switch to braided stainless steel brake lines? Stainless steel does not become dry and brittle like rubber. It is more resistant to being cut by road debris or contact with suspension components. But most importantly, stainless steel brake lines do not swell under pressure and heat as rubber lines do in extended periods of hard driving. This means that your brake pedal stays firm and braking stays consistent on the track. Plus there is the bling factor.

They are made with tight weave 96-wire stainless steel braid and a PTFE lining. These are specified to OE-length with a DOT approval and a lifetime warranty.
